Spring Break!

Here's some pictures from our Spring Break. We haven't done a whole lot, mostly just reading (on my part) and lots of homework for Phil. But we got to go to the beach on Tuesday with a couple of friends. It was so much fun, mostly because Phil had a friend so he wasn't begging me to go into the ocean with him. (It was absolutely freezing when I put my feet in). After the beach we went to Cici's Pizza and it was so good. Naturally we got totally burned, but it was worth it. We've also been just getting together and watching movies and playing games at night, so thats been fun! We can't wait for the semester to be over. We are officially half way!! (P.S. Phil is digging in the sand because they were looking for sand crabs...I think)

Who needs to get pregnant!

What do you think about my little new baby Fetus?
MakeMeBabies.com - What will your baby look like?

Baby! j/k

So I was blog stalking tonight and I came across someones blog where they put their pictures together to see what their kids would look like. So naturally I gave it a shot...it reminded me of How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days, I wish I could have gotten a picture with the baby "yodel yodeling", but this is all they had. I showed Phil and he can't wait to have kids now...

Happy 1 Year Anniversary!

We did it! One full year! It has been so exciting, I love going through all these new experiences with someone I love. I don't think I would have coped here in Beeville all by myself. He is the best example and someone I strive to be like. I know he probably wont read this, but I want him to know how much I love and appreciate him. I know this is kinda cheesy but he really is my best friend and I can't wait to spend more anniversaries together.

Super Bowl 43!!

This last Sunday, Phil and I had the opportunity to host our very first Super Bowl Party! This is actually my very first Super Bowl party everywhere...coming from a family of girls it was amazing if we watched it at all or if I stayed awake to watch any of it. The majority of the party were girls who only came for the food, but we watched the whole thing from start to finish and it was a great game except for the fact that we lost (it was rigged...) Here are some pictures that I took throughout the night, mostly to document that we really do have friends here.

Heres where the gentlemen ran off to during Bruce's big moment. The little guy couldn't handle the Cards losing too...

Heres Phil watching the pre-game before everyone shows up. The food was fabulous, we had some pizza, wings and lots of other goodies. During halftime, Phil took the "men" to his office to show him computer stuff. Everyone stayed after the game to watch the Office. Basically we watched 5.5 hours of T.V. last night. Everyone was totally exhausted in class this morning, but it was worth it!

Just to add, the very first picture is from Halloween. I know it is way past Halloween, but I jsut figured that since I'm playing catch up I might as well add another one. In the picture are a couple from Canada named Denise and Russ. She's in my program and Russ and Phil go out and play golf every once in a while.

Better late then never...

I'm back! I haven't been very good at posting. We had the opportunity to go down to Arizona for a whole month for Christmas break! We don't know why the break was so long but we were not complaining. We finished up our finals on Dec. 16 and made the 16 hour drive from Texas back home, and if you can believe it we left at 5pm and drove through the night relying on Diet Coke and Rockstars. We were so happy to stay with my sister and her family in their guest home, they are so nice for letting us crash and stink up their room (our neighbors underneath us here smoke). I brought my camera and was planning on taking tons of picture but only took like 6 or 7. Christmas Eve was so fun, we ate our "homemade" pizzas, my moms homemade green chili and Serranos bean dip. Phil and I were in charge of the Christmas program this year and it was a great experience, but are excited for someone else to do it this year. Everyone did their little part and we finished up with watching the Nativity movie. This was Phils first year celebrating Christmas with our family so he got his first pair of pajama pants (which are soooo warm and he wears them every chance he gets), and we got a buck knife! Watch out Beeville! For New Years we hung out and watched the ball drop, by the time it was midnight it was just me, Phil and my dad upstairs...my mom was outside with Jess and her friend banging the pots in the middle of the street. Go mom! It was so fun seeing our friends again and just hanging out with our family! We were so sad to leave and can't wait to come back again after this semester! We're going to be there so often, everyone is going to be wishing we would just stay in Texas! Here are the only pictures I have. They were taken after we went and watched some singing at the Temple, if you're wondering why Taylor hair is drenched its because it was pouring rain and freezing while at the temple.

So I know its been a while since I posted and I wish I had some totally exciting thing to blog about, but I don't. So I just figured I would write a little something since it's been a while. We're still living in Beeville living up the whole college experience. Its been fun getting to know new friends and we really enjoy going out with the missionaries to visit with some young families. We have an eventful couple weeks comin up with finals and branch parties. The branch comes up with any excuse to get together. But its good cause the food is always yummy. We had the chance to go home for Thanksgiving and we had a blast!! There is nothin like goin home for the holidays. We went hiking and it was Phil's first experience to the wind caves and he really enjoyed it. It was so relaxing just hanging out with the fam. I wish I would have brought my camera but you'll just have to take my word for it. We come home Dec. 17ish til the middle of Jan. for winter break and I can't wait!!! Its times like these I really hope Phil gets into dental school in Arizona so I can see my family and buddies all the time!
